Sony will offer the first real look at PS5 gameplay tonight at 1pm PT / 9pm BST
Sony Interactive Entertainment's PlayStation 5 event will take place online today at 1pm PT / 9pm BST.
Until now, Sony has carefully rationed information around its new console, largely focusing on the system's technical specifications across a handful of low-key interviews and presentations.
Today's event will focus on games, with the expectation that it will build on the impressive tech demo that accompanied the unveiling of Epic's Unreal Engine 5.
The PlayStation 5 event was initially supposed to be on June 4, but it was postponed due to the global unrest following the death of George Floyd at the hands of the Minneapolis police.
