Unity Award nominations now open

Annual awards recognise best content developed for Unity platform

Unity Technologies has called for submissions for its annual awards, which recognise the best content created with the Unity development platform.

"We continue to be blown away by what people create using Unity," said Nicholas Francis, Unity's CCO.

"Now that our registered user base has surpassed 500,000 users with 150,000 of these using it monthly, we can't wait to see this year's nominations and how our users are continuing to raise the bar and set new standards."

Categories include best cross platform, student and community choice, and nominees must be submitted by August 8. More details can be found at the official site.

The ceremony will be held at the Unite 11 developer conference, which takes place on San Francisco September 28 – 30.

Last year's winners included The Uncanny Fish Hunt for best visual design, Rimelands : Hammer of Thor for best mobile game and Air Attack HD took the Grand Prix prize.
