The GamesIndustry.biz Careers Survey 2018: Your insights needed

Annual study gives all industry members the chance to have their say (anonymously) about pay, working conditions, diversity and more

GamesIndustry.biz has launched this year's Careers Survey and is calling on all members of the industry for help.

The survey aims to construct a comprehensive picture of the current games jobs market, exploring working conditions, average salaries, staff diversity, employee benefits and more.

Following recent events, we're particularly keen to investigate any imbalance in terms of the gender split at senior levels, as well as the ever-present reports of crunch.

We will also be looking for any signs of improvement compared to last year's research, the results of which you can read here.

Remember - this study is completely anonymous so respondents are asked to be as honest as possible. This is your chance to share thoughts on working in the games industry and what can be improved.

It should only take a few minutes to fill in the survey, which you can either do below or by clicking this link. If you have any questions, feel free to email james.batchelor@gamesindustry.biz.

The deadline for responses is Friday, May 4th.

The results will be published in our special GamesIndustry.biz magazine at E3 2018 in Los Angeles and distributed to thousands of industry professionals and key execs. Highlights will also be published on the website in June.
