Square Enix to shutter Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai: A Hero's Bond
The mobile RPG will go offline on April 26 after originally launching worldwide in September 2021

Square Enix has announced that it will be shuttering the service for Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai: A Hero's Bond.
The mobile RPG will end on April 26; the title launched globally in September 2021.
"Following discussions on the challenges and practicalities of delivering this same standard in the future, we have made the very difficult decision to end the service," said Square Enix.
"We would like to offer our sincere thanks to all our players for your comments and support up until now."
Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai: A Hero's Bond marks another title that Square Enix has shut down over the years.
Some of the games whose services the firm ended are listed below:
- Mobius Final Fantasy – Shut down in 2020, released in 2015
- Final Fantasy 7: The First Solider – Ended in January 2023, released in 2021
- Babylon's Fall – To go offline on February 27, initially launched in 2022
- Bravely Default: Brilliant Lights – Service to end on February 28, launched in 2022
Square Enix released Various Daylife this week, a fully purchased RPG on the Google Play Store and App Store.
