Glory of Rome studio expands to 25,000 square foot SF office
Social gaming company Kabam has announced a significant expansion of its studio in San Francisco, which will see the creation of 150 new jobs in the area.
The developer updated its blog to announce the news, which will see the company's head count rise from a current total of 275, which includes offices in China and Redwood City.
Kabam already employs 30 people in San Francisco but will now move to a new 25,000 square foot office in the city's downtown area.
The company's games including Dragons of Atlantis, Glory of Rome, Kingdoms of Camelot, and SI Fantasy Football. All are strategy games played through Facebook, with SI Fantasy [American] Football also available on mobile formats and via the SI.com website.
'Kabam's new San Francisco studio office in a state of the art building provides the top-notch work environment we seek for our employees as we continue our exciting growth,' said CEO Kevin Chou.
'We want to draw further from the incredible talent pool for game development in the San Francisco area, and this studio, which is easily accessible from anywhere in the Bay Area, is central to that important effort.'
