Redundancies at UK vet The Code Monkeys

Studio scales back in line with 2010 workload

UK developer The Code Monkeys has confirmed to GamesIndustry.biz that it has made redundancies as it begins the new year.

The company has been developing titles for systems as far back as the ZX 81, and worked on major home consoles including the Megadrive, original PlayStation, PlayStation 2 and Nintendo Wii.

"The Code Monkeys reduced staffing levels based on our current production needs and predictions of what is needed for 2010," said development director Adrian Hirst in a short statement.

The company is currently working on a number of projects for the PSP Minis format, and WiiWare title Triple Shot Sports.
