Pitbull expands with new offices and new hires
North East studio shows growth after contract wins
Pitbull Studio has moved to new offices and hired more staff after recently securing contracts and attracting fresh client interest.
Robert Troughton's Sunderland company has brought in three new members of staff in John Gibson, Leigh Swift and Terence Burns. Gibson will take the role of the studio's Lead Character Artist and Animator.
"After private viewings of our current project, we’ve had ideas and offers coming through almost daily for what we should work on next. There are definitely very exciting times ahead for the studio," said Troughton.
"Thanks to our in-depth knowledge of some of the best technologies out there - in particular Unreal Engine 3 and Unity 3 - we're able to offer programming expertise that other studios are really struggling with."
Troughton founded the studio in July last year, forming the company from the ashes of the recently closed Midway Newcastle - itself formerly known as Pitbull Syndicate.
