Ninja Theory secures UK #1 with DMC reboot
First UK top spot for Capcom since Resident Evil 5 in 2009
Ninja Theory's Devil May Cry franchise reboot has secured the top spot on the UK all format charts, knocking FIFA 13 from the number one position and giving Capcom its first chart leader since Resident Evil 5 in week thirteen of 2009.
However, GFK-Chartrack's figures reveal that the title has only sold just over a third of the units shifted by 2008's Devil May Cry 4, which also secured the number one position on its week of release.
Sales of other titles were down almost across the board compared to last week, with Hitman Absolution showing the biggest drop to eighth from fourth.
All chart data is collated by UKIE and GfK Chart-Track.
