Music Video Games company formed
Realtime Associates and TDK Mediactive vets form music-based game company
Games industry veterans David Warhol and Vincent Bitetti have announced the formation of Music Video Games (MvG).
"MvG has been created with the goal of bringing fun and easily accessible music games to an audience that has largely remained unnoticed to this point," said CEO Bitetti.
"The music videogame market and the online casual market both continue to grow exponentially. MvG will provide games that will appeal to both demographics."
Bitetti was the former CEO of TDK Mediactive, which was sold to Take-Two in 2004, and Warhol was president of Realtime Associates.
Warhol will be Chief Creative Officer of the new company. The two are joined by strategic advisors Mark Goldstein - former senior VP of business and legal affairs at Warner Bros records - and Tim Walsh - formerly senior VP of international publishing and president of THQ Wireless.
