Monumental's headcount grows to 60
Studio behind MMO Football Superstars begins work on two new projects
Monumental Games, the Nottingham-based studio behind forthcoming MMO Football Superstars, has revealed that its headcount has passed the 60 mark as it starts work on two new projects.
The company has grown from 35 staff in the past six months, according to Edge, including the hire of game director Ron Harris - a veteran of Sony, EA and Codemasters - and project lead Ewan Lamont, a pen and paper RPG production manager.
"Growth comes with its own challenges and ensuring we get the right people in the right places is a key component," said CEO Rik Alexander. "We also have to make sure we retain our excellent staff and that’s about more than just offering a highly competitive package."
