Mediatonic becomes preferred Facebook developer

Game developer meets Facebook's highest standards of quality and usability

UK studio Mediatonic has been awarded Facebook's Preferred Developer Consultant status, setting it apart as a content creator that has met the social firm's highest standards of quality and usability.

There are 90 PDCs worldwide, with Mediatonic now joining the likes of Livestream, Gigya, Oodle and Noise.

"I believe Facebook is a fantastic platform for gaming online, as people can connect and interact directly with their friends," offered games director Paul Croft. "We're thrilled to have been selected for the PDC program and are very excited to be launching several original games for Facebook over the next few months."

The company has made a number of games for SEGA and LEGO, as well as original IP such as Monsters (Probably) Stole My Princess for the PSP. Croft, also co-founder of the studio, received £5000 last year and the Younger Interactive Entrepreneur award from the British Council.
