Jagex appoints Phil White
20 year veteran overseeing new 8Realms strategy project

Jagex Games, based in Cambridgeshire, has announced the appointment of Phil White as vice president of 8Realms, the developer's new strategy title.
Like Jagex's most successful title, Runescape, 8Realms will be a free-to-play browser game with monetisation options.
"I have been following the rise of Jagex for the last decade and delighted to get the opportunity to join the team," said White.
"Jagex's history, experience and the company's vision for the future with RuneScape, Transformers and StellarDawn meant that joining the Jagex was a real no-brainer for me. It is a real privilege to join the 8Realms team at such a critical stage in the games development.
