IO Interactive has announced it has opened a fourth studio, with the newest branch based in the Turkish city of Istanbul.
The company revealed the new studio via its website, describing it as a "crucial part in the continued growth and success of IO Interactive."
IOI Istanbul is located in the Maslak area of the city's Sariyer district, alongside several other tech businesses.
It hopes to "[establish] a foothold for AAA development in Turkey" and the team there will "play a significant role" on all IOI productions.
These include Project 007 (the James Bond game teased in 2020), the recently revealed Project Fantasy (an online RPG built around a new IP) and future Hitman titles.
In 2021, IOI announced during a GI Live event that it was opening its third studio in Barcelona, with its first two based in Copenhagen and Malmö.
