Infinity Ward HR manager joins Respawn
IW employee becomes 15th to leave for West and Zampella's new studio
The former human resources manager and recruiter at Call of Duty developer Infinity Ward has joined rival start-up Respawn Entertainment.
Kristin Cotterell is now human resources and recruitment manager at the new studio, formed by ex-Infinity Ward studio heads Jason West and Vince Zampella after they were infamously sacked by Activision for "insubordination".
Cotterell's appointment was revealed by an update on her LinkedIn profile, as spotted by GamesIndustry.biz sister site Eurogamer.
Around 30 staff have left Infinity Ward over the last month, 15 of which are known to have joined Respawn.
These include Modern Warfare 2 lead designers Todd Alderman and Mackey McCandlish, lead animators Mark Grisby and John Paul Messerly, lead environmental artist Chris Cherubini, software engineer Rayme C. Vinson and programmer John Shiring.
