IGDA offers Warren Spector keynote in membership drive
Organisation challenges chapters, with Deus Ex and Epic Mickey creator speech as the prize
The International Game Developers Association has unveiled the prize for the chapter which proves most successful at attracting new members before the end of Friday, November 19.
A keynote speech delivered in person by Junction Point boss Warren Spector is on offer to any of the 81 chapters worldwide that racks up the most points in a global membership drive.
Anybody signing up to a Lifetime Membership - of which a limited number are available at $600 each - will generate 10 points, while two-year Core Members are worth 5 points, one-year Core Members 2 points and a Student Member 1 point.
The move is intended to stimulate greater interest in the global organisation ahead of it's Leadership Forum, taking place next month, and the Global Game Jam at the end of January next year.
