id Software's RAGE playable at Eurogamer Expo

Doom developer to show off brand new IP at consumer event

Doom developer id Software’s brand new IP RAGE will be available to play at the consumer event in September.

"Eurogamer is a company founded by id Software fans so we're especially thrilled that they have chosen the Eurogamer Expo to showcase RAGE to the public ahead of its release," said Rupert Loman, Managing Director of Eurogamer.

RAGE is a brand new first person shooter created with the id Tech 5 engine, due for release in October. id Software joins companies like Konami and Namco Bandai in supporting the event.

The event, run by GamesIndustry.biz sister site Eurogamer, is predicted to attract around 30,000 attendees across the four days and is the only expo of its size in the UK. GamesIndustry.biz will also be holding a career fair at the show.

The 2011 Eurogamer Expo will take place at London's Earls Court from September 22 - 25. Further information can be found at the official website.
