High Voltage Software turns 15
High Voltage Software marks fifteen years in the industry as an independent game developer
High Voltage Software has announced that they are celebrating 15 years of independent game development - what they refer to as a "rare feat" in an industry dominated by large publishers.
"I'm personally extremely proud of what this company has done in the last fifteen years," said High Voltage Software founder Kerry J. Ganofsky.
"And right now the future is very bright. We have invested heavily in technology for the Nintendo Wii and over the course of the next year that investment is going to be paying off."
Founded in 1993, High Voltage Software's first title was developed for Sega's Game Gear handheld. The company has since developed more than 60 games across multiple generations of hardware.
This year, the company is entering the realm of internal development of original titles for the first time with two titles announced for the Wii - The Conduit and Gyrostarr.
