Disney Dreamlight Valley publisher Gameloft has shut down its Budapest office location.

As reported by GameDeveloper, per HVG, the move was attributed to the firm focusing more on console and PC titles.

The Budapest studio was established in 2012. Its game credits include Disney Getaway Blast and Dragon Mania Legends.

A Gameloft representative said the publisher is "working to find the best possible solution for the employees concerned."

The news comes nearly a year after the games company opened a new Paris studio.

During Q3 2022, Gameloft's revenue increased 48% year on year; parent company Vivendi attributed the increase to the release of Disney Dreamlight Valley in September.
