Frank Savage leaves Microsoft for Blade Games
Former XNA architect takes up position as co-CTO at newly-formed company
Frank Savage, former XNA architect at Microsoft, has joined Blade Games as co-CTO, the company has announced, sharing the role with founder Christian Beaumont.
Blade, which was recently formed as the result of a merger between Digini and Vyk Games, is responsible for the Blade3D game engine, a subscription-based technology designed to work with Microsoft XNA.
"I look forward to contributing to the efforts of the technical team at Blade Games," said Savage. "Blade3D has begun a revolution on how we approach game development and it's positioned to open up the imaginations of game designers, both hobbyists and professional."
