Fallout: New Vegas developer Obsidian hit with layoffs
Staff take to Twitter but studio remains silent
Developer Obsidian Entertainment looks to have been hit with a number of layoffs, according to various staff postings on social network Twitter.
Akil Hopper, who had been with the company for 11 years, posted that he has been laid off after surviving seven previous rounds of redundancy, along with similar messages collected on the official Obsidian website.
As well as working with Bethesda on last year's Fallout: New Vegas, the company is also known for Alpha Protocol for publisher Sega, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II and Neverwinter Nights 2.
GamesIndustry.biz has contacted Obsidian for comment.
