Details of the consumer-focused Entertainment for All Expo have been revealed, with the event scheduled for October 18th - 20th.

Taking place at the Los Angeles Convention Centre, the home of former trade event E3, the new show will focus on enticing consumers, with game demos and a retail area amongst the highlights.

"We've witnessed a growing demand for a consumer-focused interactive entertainment show these last few years - both from consumers and from the industry," said Mary Dolaher, executive VP of IDG World Expo.

"E for All Expo will offer an unprecedented opportunity for people who share a passion for games to try before they buy - and to interact with the people who created them."

"For companies that produce and develop games, interactive toys, and all things related, our goal is that E for All will foster promotional and relationship-building opportunities that only face-to-face contact can create," she added.

As well as showcasing products, the event will feature tournaments, a job fair, family friendly events, and concerts.

The Entertainment for All Expo is endorsed by the Entertainment Software Association.
