Developer Loose Cannon goes public

Indie studio working on new IP for home consoles, to be revealed at E3

Though originally formed in 2005, independent game developer Loose Cannon has gone public - as it nears completion of its first title for Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii, to be revealed at E3 next month.

The studio is was formed by ex-Sly Cooper creator Dev Madan, along with Matthew Scott previously of Crave Entertainment and Monolith, and Ricci Rukavina, creative director at Universal Studios and Vivendi Games.

"People have gathered from top studios to create a small, tight-knit crew with well over a century of industry experience," said the company.

"We draw on our experience shipping best selling and critically acclaimed titles such as: Sly Cooper, Spyro The Dragon, Crash Bandicoot, Halo, Jak and Daxter, Uncharted: Drakes Fortune, Dungeon Siege, No One Lives Forever, and many more."

The company's first title has already been signed by a publisher, and is due for release by the autumn.
