Sony Interactive Entertainment VP of product development to receive honor at DICE Awards

The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) has announced that it will induct Sony Interactive Entertainment VP of product development Connie Booth into its Hall of Fame at the DICE Awards next month.

Hall has worked for Sony since 1989 holding numerous roles, including production roles that saw her working closely with Naughty Dog on Crash Bandicoot. She took on the position of director of product development in 1998, and has since been involved with the releases of major titles including Syphon Filter, Jak and Daxter, Sly Cooper, Ratchet & Clank, Infamous, Uncharted, The Last of Us, Days Gone, and Spider-Man.

"We are honored to have Connie as our Hall of Fame recipient," said AIAS president Meggan Scavio. "For over two decades, she has been a leading voice and advocate for countless PlayStation franchises as well as nurturing new talent in the industry. Her tireless work and passion have had an indelible impact on game makers, allowing their creative visions to flourish."

Past Hall of Fame inductees have included Bonnie Ross (who was inducted last year), Todd Howard, Mark Cerny, Mike Morhaime, Tim Sweeney, Hideo Kojima, and a triad of Rockstar Games leads.

The DICE Awards will take place on February 13 at the DICE Summit in Las Vegas.
