Chaos Edge Mobigame legal fund hits EUR 1500
And Chaos Engine is "confident" of Tim Langdell's removal from IGDA board
The Chaos Engine, a virtual community of over 7000 game developers from around the world, has announced that its Chaos Edge legal fund - to help support Mobigame's battle against Tim Langdell, has hit over EUR 1500 in donations.
The fund was set up on July 24 and since then has seen a "regular flow" of money given to the trademark cause.
Additionally, the organisation is "confident" that an IGDA meeting will soon be called to set a vote on having Langdell removed from its board, with an IGDA member petition on the matter having reached 2000 names.
"Now is the time for the IGDA to start acting in the interests of their members and to repair some of the damage done to the organisation in recent months," a statement read.
