Crytek, and any other developer based in Germany that makes 'violent' videogames may have to outsource development on those titles, or relocate completely to a different country, if the Interior Ministers in the country get their way.
All 16 regional representatives have apparently requested the outlawing of production and distribution of violent titles before elections on September 27, writes GamePolitics, citing a German-language report.
The act follows the most recent school shooting in Wittenberg in March, in which 15 people died when a 17 year-old former pupil went on a killing spree.
