In-game ad platform Gadsme raises $8m

Firm's seed round backed by Galaxy Interactive and Ubisoft

Ad tech platform Gadsme has raised $8 million in a round of seed funding to fuel its in-game advertising efforts.

The round was led by Galaxy Interactive, with participation from Ubisoft, among others.

Gadsme works alongside multiple partners to deliver in-game ads, including Ubisoft, Tilting Point, TapNation and Voodoo. The company will use the funds to scale up its business and expand its team "to meet demand."

"For our seed round we wanted to find partners that could bring vast knowledge and expertise into our business, said Gadsme CEO and co-founder Guillaume Monteux. "Not just provide capital, but genuine experiences and learnings in the exact industry we operate in. With Galaxy Interactive, Ubisoft and other major games company founders as shareholders, we're now poised and ready to execute on our vision."

Simon Spaull, CRO and co-founder added: "We're excited to see how the AdTech industry will develop further in 2022 and to be a key player in connecting studios and brands."
