CI Games prepares to float on London Stock Exchange
Polish studio hires new CFO in a move towards potential dual listing across LSE and Warsaw Stock Exchange
Developer and publisher CI Games has appointed a new financial adviser and chief financial officer as it prepares for a potential listing on the London Stock Exchange.
CI Games became a public company in 2007, and is already listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
The Sniper Warrior studio has hired investment bank Berenberg as its financial adviser, and has also named David Broderick as its new chief financial officer and vice president of the management board.
Broderick previously served as group chief financial officer at Keywords, where he spent three years overseeing finance and M&A.
"The appointment of leading international investment bank, Berenberg, in addition to the enrolment to the Board of David Broderick -- a highly experienced CFO -- marks a significant step for CI Games in the continued growth of the company and advancement towards a fair company value," said CI Games CEO Marek Tymiński.
As it stands, CI Games now has 160 employees spanning offices in the UK, France, Spain and Bucharest alongside its HQ in Poland.
It currently has three multi-platform titles in development, including Lords of The Fallen 2 and the next instalment of the Sniper Warrior franchise. Following the launch quality of Sniper Ghost Warrior 3, the firm pulled back on efforts to compete with AAA titles.
