Ninja Theory establishes Senua's Scholarship to train mental health tutors

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice developer to collaborate with Head to Toe charity in recognition of World Mental Health Day

Ninja Theory has announced it will collaborate once again with the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust's Recovery College East, this time with a new scholarship to support mental health education in recognition of World Mental Health Day.

The developer of Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice will establish and fund Senua's Scholarship in partnership with the organization's Head to Toe charity, which will allow a student each year to train with the organization to become a mental health tutor. These mental health tutors assist people diagnosed with mental illness in discovering the possibilities of "life beyond diagnosis."

The recipient of the scholarship will also be provided with opportunities to explore new careers or return to a previous career surrounding mental health.

This is not the first time Ninja Theory has worked with the group. Recovery College East assisted the studio during the development of Hellblade to help the team better understand mental illness as they created the game's main character, Senua.
