Former Gotham Games president and Rainmaker Games founder appointed to role
Artificial Mind & Movement has appointed former Rainmaker Games founder Jamie Leece as its new senior vice president of business development.
During his 20 years in the industry, Leece has held several high profile roles. Prior to his setting up of Rainmaker Games, a company whose client base included MTV Games, he held positions at LucasArts and Interplay and was president of Take-Two label Gotham Games. Specialising in sales, licensing, publishing and business development, he has worked on a number of games including Max Payne, Halo: Conflict and Duke Nukem.
"I'm thrilled to be joining Artificial Mind & Movement at this exciting time," said Leece. "I look forward to helping the company extend and expand its relationships with our current publishing partners, as well as looking for new strategic relationships in all aspects of the interactive industry."
"Mr. Leece brings considerable experience in business development and publishing in the video game industry, and we couldn't be more excited to add him to our team," commented Remi Racine, president and CEO of Artificial Mind & Movement. “Under his guidance, we look forward to strengthening our position as one of the world's top independent studios."
In his new role, Leece will oversee North American business development working from the company's Montreal studios, and contribute to increasing its strategic market opportunities.
