43% of developers report better work-life balance during pandemic
IGDA developer survey also finds 37% of developers saw work-life balance hurt over past year and a half
Yesterday the IGDA released the results of COVID-related questions from its 2021 Developer Satisfaction Survey.
The survey revealed that 43% of developers reported that their work-life balance has improved during the pandemic while 37% reported otherwise.
41% of indie developers said that the pandemic affected their ability to find work. In contrast, 35% of AAA developers reported that their ability to find work was hurt.
The survey also showed that women more commonly reported project delays than their male counterparts but it wasn't clear as to why that might be.
The full Developer Satisfaction Survey is expected to be released in Q4.
