Kong Studios relocates HQ to Santa Monica

The Guardian Tales developer moves main office from Nevada as it aims to expand business operations

Recently game company Kong Studios announced that it has relocated its headquarters to Santa Monica, California.

Founded in 2013, the studio has released titles such as Dungeon Link and most recently Guardian Tales for mobile devices.

With the move the developer says that it aims to increase creation of its next AAA game. Also, the company went on to say that it intends to expand its IP and the role of its headquarters.

"HQ's move to Santa Monica is a significant start for Kong Studios Inc. It signifies growth of our company into one capable of developing a triple A (AAA) title," staff said.

The news of the company's main office relocation and expansion plans follows after it raised $62 million in a Series B funding round last year.
