Zynga loses its treasurer to Twitter
Mike Gupta is the latest executive to leave the company
Only a day after a major management shakeup in which Zynga lost its CFO David Wehner to Facebook, it's now been revealed that the company's treasurer Mike Gupta is ditching the company to take a position with Twitter. Gupta will serve in the same role at Twitter.
Zynga has been attempting to reinvent itself since its stock plummeted and many of its games lost tons of active users. The publisher is more actively pursuing mobile gaming and, midcore titles in particular. It's also in a legal battle with Kixeye, an established player in the midcore mobile field.
