Zuiker to keynote VWC

The keynote speaker for next month's Virtual Worlds Conference has been confirmed as Anthony Zuiker, the creator and executive producer of the CSI television series.

Zuiker will talk about how he plans to see CSI: NY take advantage of virtual worlds in order to extend the brand's awareness online and interactive.

Conference executive director Christopher Sherman believes that such a move is forward-thinking, commenting: "With the advent of virtual worlds television franchises can now engage fans directly, immersing them into their brands, producing an exciting extension to the creative process."

Zuiker joins over 60 other speakers at the event, taking place on October 10 - 11 at the San Jose Convention Center, including representatives from Microsoft, Intel, and Linden Lab.
