Gamedoctors, the independent game development studio behind the mega-hit iPhone title ZombieSmash!, today announced that their debut castle defense game is the #1 paid app in the US. After launching on the App Store just over a month ago, ZombieSmash! has taken the world by storm with its addictive gameplay, compelling graphics, and tons of zombie annihilating fun.

In celebration of the game’s wild success, Gamedoctors recently released an update to help players make the undead dead, which includes:

• New Special: Windmill Blade—chop those annoying zombies into itty bitty pieces

• Additional upgrade available for liquid nitrogen special to create more freeze-dried zombies

• Final kills come with larger amounts of blood and gore

• New campaign level "xt" generates a random level for players to tackle

• Software tweaks and bug fixes for smoother gameplay
