Zoë Mode office movie

Developer shifts operations to plush new Brighton HQ.

20th November 2008

Zoë Mode, the Brighton-based developer of music and party games such as Sony’s Singstar and Microsoft’s forthcoming You’re in the Movies, has moved their centre of operations to a purpose built, architect-designed six story studio next to Brighton’s central train station.

The building houses five development teams, a fully equipped sound studio, the technology group, gameplay prototyping lab and staff canteen.

The new Zoë Mode building conforms to BREEM architectural standards of sustainable, environmental building design and incorporates rainwater harvesting and low-impact central services. Because of its central Brighton location, over 90% of the staff walk, cycle or use public transport to get to work.

Ed Daly, Studio Head says:

“We couldn’t be happier with Zoë’s new home and we’re proud of its low environmental impact. Building out exactly the studio we wanted was a wonderful opportunity to create a space that not only gives everyone what they need to do their jobs but that reflects and enhances the culture of the company.”
