Zeptolab's CATS is Google Play's Best Game of 2017

Nintendo's Super Mario Run was the most downloaded title, Kefir!'s Last Day on Earth: Survival was named Most Innovative

Zeptolab's CATS: Crash Arena Turbo Stars has been named the Best Game of 2017 by Google Play's editors.

CATS launched in April this year, and has since been downloaded more than ten million times. The gameplay is built on a combination of building machines and PvP combat, with Google Play's editors praising it for, "glossy graphics, and an impressively intuitive interface."

Zeptolab's latest was also among the most downloaded games of the year, alongside the most downloaded game of the year, Nintendo's Super Mario Run. The other games mentioned in the category were King's Bubble Witch Saga 3 (a "close" second place), Voodoo Arcade's Snake vs Block, and Playdemic Sports' Golf Clash.

Google Play named Kefir!'s Last Day on Earth: Survival the most Innovative game of 2017, in a category that also included Boombit Games' Build a Bridge, Nexon M's After the End: Forsaken Destiny and Battlejack RPG, and Zut's Love Hue.
