ZeniMax Asia to bring Fallout 3, Bully, MLB 2K8 and Star Trek titles to the region
ZeniMax, parent company of Bethesda Softworks, has announced the founding of a Tokyo publishing arm to be called ZeniMax Asia.
"Establishing operations in Asia is very important to us as we continue to expand our presence in markets outside of North America," said ZeniMax CEO Robert Altman.
"In addition to ZeniMax Europe Ltd., our direct relationships throughout Asia allow us to bring exciting titles like Fallout 3 to gamers across the globe."
The new division, led by general manager Tetsu Takahashi, will also be responsible for bringing titles such as Star Trek: Conquest and Star Trek: Legacy to the region as well as games such as 2K's Major League Baseball 2K8 and Rockstar's Bully.
ZeniMax recently announced that it was opening a new online division in Baltimore County, Maryland, USA to be led by Matt Firor, one of the founders of Mythic Entertainment. The region is already home to Big Huge Games, Firaxis Games and BreakAway Ltd.
