Tickets on sale for charity benefit awards ceremony at this month's at Casual Connect Seattle.

SEATTLE - July 8, 2008

Gamezebo, the leading editorial Web site and community for people passionate about casual games, and the Casual Games Association today announced that the second annual Zeebys Award Show will be held at Casual Connect Seattle on July 24, 2008. This year, the Zeebys will donate 100 percent of its ticket sales benefiting the Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation. With this year’s Zeebys theme as “Casual Games Giving Back,” Gamezebo and the Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation are working together to give back to the community. Starlight is a nonprofit that uses entertainment, education and family activities to improve the quality of life for seriously ill children and their families.

The Zeebys reward the best in casual games as voted by the general public. With the voting period extended through July 11, 2008, anyone is invited to vote for their favorite casual games of 2007 by visiting http://www.zeebys.com/vote-2.php. Winners will be revealed at the awards show on Thursday, July 24, 2008 from 6:30 – 8:00 PM in the Taper Auditorium located inside Benaroya Hall in Seattle. In addition, Lifetime Networks will record and broadcast the entire show at www.MyLifetime.com.
