Yacht Club Games and Graffiti Games hope to sign new titles at PAX East
Two new publishers added to the roster
Shovel Knight developer Yacht Club Games and Canadian games publisher Graffiti Games are looks to meet independent developers during the GamesIndustry.biz Investment Summit at PAX East.
Yacht Club has published games before, including Azure Striker Gunvolt: Striker Pack and its smash hit Shovel Knight series. Meanwhile, Graffiti Games launched last year and boasts games including The King's Bird, Joggernaughts, Double Cross and Tident's Wake.
The Investment Summit takes place next to PAX East on Thursday, March 28th. Tickets for studios are available through here. It includes access to the summit, lunch, networking breaks, and two-day passes to PAX East (if you don't have one already).
Over 70 developers are already signed-up to attend.
Other major publishers and investors set for the event include Digital Extremes, Double Fine, Gearbox, Humble Bundle, Kickstarter, Kongregate, Kowloon Nights, Krafton (formerly Bluehole), Merge Game, PlayStack, PlayStation, Velan Ventures, Versus Evil and Xbox. More will be announced in the coming weeks.
Speakers at the show include Chris Charla from ID@Xbox, Anya Combs from Kickstarter and John Polson from Humble Bundle. They'll be sharing insight, data and advice on how to secure funding for your game. Our remaining speakers, including our keynote, will be announced shortly.

The conference talks take place in the morning of the show, this is followed by a networking lunch and then the afternoon will feature 1-2-1 meetings between publishers/investors and independent developers. All ticket holders can submit to enter the 1-2-1 meeting system, but whether you secure any meetings are at the discretion of the publishers and investors. There will be ad-hoc networking opportunities during the lunch, and also after the event when drinks will be served.
