X3: Terran Conflict
Update 1.2 fixes assorted issues and adds a new mission.
Computer games developer Egosoft and Deep Silver, the games label of Koch Media, a leading producer and distributor of digital entertainment products, today released an update and new content for X³: Terran Conflict.
Apart from new features and several fixes update 1.2 also adds a whole new mission to the game: The player must take on the role of a prospector, looking for valuable asteroids for a client.
The update offers the following changes:
- A whole new mission to scan for valuable asteroids
- Enabled mouse control in external view mode
- Various improvements in the user interface
- When a target is lost, the nearest enemy is targeted automatically
- Improved boarding crew functionality
- Several other improvements and fixes
The update can be either accessed from the start-up configuration screen of X³: Terran Conflict or directly from this website http://www.egosoft.com/download/x3tc/patches_en.php.
X³: Terran Conflict is a brand new, stand-alone game set in the universe of X³. It is the culmination of the X trilogy, with a grand finale that takes us all the way back to Earth's own solar system. Gamers can take on the roles of different characters in the X universe, or of a Terran military pilot, and experience a multitude of stories in the largest X universe ever featured – for X³: Terran Conflict will offer more missions than any other X game before. Meanwhile, X³: Terran Conflict will pose questions such as: How has Earth changed in all these years? And how will relations between Earth and its counterparts in the X universe develop?
