Oxford, UK, 15th February 2010 – X2 Games, the wholly owned publishing subsidiary of award-winning UK developer Exient Ltd, is proud to announce that X2 Snowboarding is now available from the App Store for iPhone and iPod Touch. X2 Snowboarding draws upon over a decade’s experience in developing handheld sports titles to deliver the definitive iPhone snowboarding experience.
X2 Snowboarding features fluid motion and touch controls to create the most intense and fast-paced snowboarding gameplay yet seen on the platform. Players can choose from six different riders to compete in a series of trick, race or freestyle events across some of the coolest and most demanding slopes in the world. Featuring Bluetooth and local Wifi multiplayer, players can also shred the powder with friends and enemies alike.
X2 Snowboarding boasts the unique, rewind & replay feature. This revolutionary time-warping feature allows gamers to relive sections of the course in real-time. Meaning players can replay, in real-time, areas of the course or tricks they have failed to complete throughout their game. Adding unprecedented authenticity, key snowboarding industry licenses have allowed X2 Snowboarding to feature a range of Animal branding, Salomon Snowboards branded boards and a custom soundtrack from record label Tru Thoughts.
