Latest audio pipeline solution out now, includes 3DS and iOS compatibility.

Montreal, Canada – March 30, 2011 – Audiokinetic Inc., the leading cross-platform audio solution provider for the video game industry, announces today the latest version of Wwise.  Wwise 2011.1 introduces new features and enhancements, including support of portable systems such as iOS (iPhone and iPad) and previously announced Nintendo 3DS™.

In an effort to make Wwise accessible to a wide range of developers, Audiokinetic confirms a new pricing model for iOS projects.  Developers will be able to license Wwise for $500 US.  New public discussion forums will be made available to the community.  Approved Nintendo 3DS developers that want to license Wwise will be able to purchase a license at $5,000 US.  Additional details on our pricing are available on Audiokinetic’s web site.
