World Series Of Video Games Announces Winners At UK Gaming Championship In London, UK
Climax to the London Games Festival Draws 12,000 over three days

London, UK- October 8, 2006 - The heroes of the gaming world went head to head in London this weekend for the UK stage of the $1,000,000 World Series of Video Games (WSVG). More than 12,000 people gathered to watch 200 top competitors from around the world. After three days of non-stop gaming, three teams and individuals have emerged victorious, at the climax of the first ever London Games Festival.
The WSVG UK Gaming Championship took place at the London Trocadero in Piccadilly Circus October 6-8, 2006, where contestants battled it out in PC games Counter-Strike 1.6, Warcraft III and Quake 4. The announcement of the winners was made by World Series of Video Games Executive Vice President Scott Valencia.
