Red Stone added to the US game line-up.
(NEW YORK, N.Y., JULY 28, 2008) -- World Cyber Games (WCG), the world's largest and most prestigious video game competition, has announced the late addition of the internationally popular massive multi-player online game, Red Stone, to the official line-up for the United States Tournament and National Final, taking place October 3-5 in Los Angeles. Free registration for Red Stone is now open at the WCG USA website ( www.worldcybergames.com/usa) through August 22, 2008. Players will compete online to earn the opportunity to compete at the WCG USA 2008 National Final,. The top four teams of 2 during the online tournament, which takes place between August 25 and September 5, will advance to the National Final where one team will earn the right to join the defending world champion WCG United States squad at the Grand Final in Cologne, Germany this November.
One of the world's most popular MMO's, Red Stone puts players on a quest to recover the lost shards of a powerful jewel in order to restore peace to the world. Players select one of eight different character classes to start the game. As they progress, gamers make use of the Transform System, which allows all players to change jobs and weapons, as well as transform into other characters. Red Stone also features a constantly rechargeable magic meter, which challenges players to use their skills strategically.
