Women in Games International is Mixing it Up in Vancouver

WIGI Presents Networking for Interactive Entertainment Pros

September 20, 2007 - Vancouver, BC, Canada -Women in Games International (WIGI), a non-profit organization in the interactive entertainment industry, will be hosting a community mixer and networking event at Threewave Software on Wednesday, September 26 as a way to encourage local members to get to know regional peers and to spend a relaxing evening socializing. Admission is free. Appetizers and beverages will be offered.

"We're very excited about this event," says Sheri Graner Ray, Chair of the Women in Games International's Steering Committee. "It's been a very successful series and every new city means another opportunity for us to connect the local game communities." Prior WIGI mixers in 2007 have been held in Austin, Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco, with capacity turnouts at every event.
