Wireless industry networking event announced for GDC

Shaken Not Stirred to bring together wireless types in San Jose in March

Attendees at this year's Game Developers Conference in San Jose, California, are invited to attend a new and unique networking opportunity, presented by FierceDeveloper and sponsored by Mary-Margaret recruitment services.

Taking place in the evening of March 21st at Scores, the Rat Pack styled martini lounge just three blocks from the GDC convention centre, the Shaken, not Stirred event offers wireless industry professionals a relaxed and informal environment in which to meet, greet and mingle with friends, colleagues and potential business partners in the wireless sector.

Transporting guests back to the heyday of the Rat Pack, attendees will be listening to live Rat Pack style music as they sip a complimentary martini, enjoy the food, entertainment and giveaways and share insights and experiences in the wireless industry with their peers.

Eli Dickinson of FierceDeveloper commented: "FierceDeveloper parties are great because everyone is there, from one-man start-ups to Fortune 500 executives. Our 2005 party had it all: food, drinks, music, and networking -- more than a few deals were made that night!"

An alternative networking event, which is not sponsored or endorsed by the Game Developers Conference, Shaken not Stirred offers a unique opportunity to make those initial introductions, form business deals and get some personal time with the key movers in the industry. Interested parties should confirm their attendance by visiting the Shaken not Stirred website and completing the RSVP slip.

The Game Developers Conference (GDC) Mobile event is scheduled to take place in San Jose, from March 20th-21st, 2006. More information on the event can be found at the official GDC Mobile website.
