Winters promoted to GameTrailers general manager

MTVN Entertainment Group has announced the promotion of Brad Winters to general manager of GameTrailers.com.

Winters will oversee operations of GameTrailers.com and will manage the Web site's role within MTVN's broadcast and digital programming initiatives. Winters will also oversee business development for the newly-formed Spike Digital Entertainment Group.

"Brad has been with GameTrailers since the beginning, contributing instrumentally to its growth and success," said Jon Slusser, senior vice president of Spike Digital and Video Games. "His expertise in business development and operations combined with his leadership capabilities and passion for the site will take GameTrailers to the next level."

Winters, a graduate of Vanderbilt Univeristy, was the director of business development for GameTrailers, joining MTV Networks upon its acquisition of the company in 2005.

Prior to GameTrailers, Winters managed the affiliate network and business development at GameDaily.
