Wii Fit continues dominance of UK chart

Title becomes Nintendo's longest-running chart-topper in the region

Wii Fit has held on to the top of the UK chart, becoming Nintendo's longest-running UK number one title at 11 weeks, beating out Pokémon Yellow, according to data provided by Chart-Track.

The Godfather II broke into the chart at number two, while Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games jumped from ninth to third place.

Resident Evil 5 continued its descent down the chart settling in at number four, as FIFA 09 dropped one place to five and Call of Duty: World at War took sixth place.

Professor Layton and the Curious Village held onto its place at number seven, followed by Wii Play and Mario Kart Wii which re-entered the top ten at eight and nine respectively.

Street Fighter IV closed the chart having fallen four places to come in at ten.
