Polish the brass handles, roll out the red carpet and always blame it on the bell boy, Mindscape's latest five star establishment, My Pet Hotel, will be available for booking for PC from tomorrow.

In My Pet Hotel, players are given the chance to run and maintain their very own pet care centre, as well as look after its furry and/or feathered guests while the owners are away.

This simulation title features six of the UK's most popular animals: Horses, Rabbits, Dogs, Cats, Tortoises and Budgerigars, all of which have their own special needs that must be taken into account. As well as different breeds, each animal has its own history with appropriate requirements which must be managed effectively to maintain the hotel's reputation.

Tasks, which must be carried out in the successful running of a good pet hotel, include feeding the animals, cleaning their enclosures, playing with them, teaching new tricks and riding the horses. Through several exciting episodes, players will need to design and build new animal enclosures, which must also be kept safe and clean in order to achieve the most coveted 'Best Pet Hotel in the World Award'.

With realistic, 3D animated pets and special scenarios for teaching specific tricks throughout, My Pet Hotel is as close as you can get to owning these animals without pulling on Wellingtons and breaking out the poop shovel.

My Pet Hotel will be published by Mindscape for PC on 17th March 2006, priced £14.99.
