We R Interactive, Sheridans confirmed for Games Invest 2011

We R Interactive and Sheridans will participate in the UK games financing event, Games Invest 2011.

We R Interactive develops and publishes innovative social games that incorporate aspects of film and TV production, like the point-of-view football game I AM PLAYR.

The company is attending Games Invest to meet developers seeking a publishing partner or investor for similarly unique project ideas.

Sheridans is a leading media law firm that represents and advises some of Europe's most successful game companies. Alex Chapman, an expert in intellectual property and business law, will give a session on new business models and the importance of IP.

Investors, sponsors and speakers attending the show include Sega, NESTA, London Venture Partners and Sony's External Development Studio Europe, with more still to be confirmed.

Games Invest 2011 takes place on September 22 during the Eurogamer Expo in Earls Court, London. It offers small and medium sized games and technology companies the chance to learn about funding their projects, and network with potential investors and publishers.

Each Games Invest 2011 ticket includes a morning of sessions from key investors and games businesses, a networking lunch, and an application form for formal pitch meetings with potential games investors.

Tickets cost £99 (plus booking fee), and include full access to the Eurogamer Expo and GamesIndustry.biz Career Fair.
